Why I became an editor
I searched and searched for the perfect part-time job with the flexibility required for a college student like myself. I combed through blogs and websites galore until, finally, I stumbled upon the brilliant world of online proofreading. I was delighted to discover this vocation as a way to both challenge myself and learn about myriad new topics, as well as to be finally rewarded for correcting others' grammar.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I am a perfectionist by nature, and I love language. I love the rules of language and how they provide a structure to express with great specificity any concept or feeling or image of which one may conceive. I enjoy positively contributing to others' work, and I appreciate the opportunity to do so.

Hobbies:
When my schoolwork is finished and the day's work is done, I love to walk in nature, attend wild music concerts, or cuddle in front of a great film with my cats.
Editing tips:
First, I look for details like punctuation issues, and then I gradually broaden my scope to style, tone, and formality with my subsequent readings.
