Why I became an editor
My love for language lead me to complete a degree in English literature and history. After completing it, I decided to combine my passion for words with my love for travel and became an ESL teacher in Italy, where I stayed for three years. I am now back in education, studying a masters in media at the University of Rotterdam.
Proofreading is my ideal job as there is nothing more satisfying to me than polishing a text to reveal its full potential.

Why I love proofreading and editing
I enjoy the feeling of taking a text and transforming it into a piece of work. My love for literature means reading is never a chore to me, no matter the topic; however, my main fields of interest are English, media, history, and economics.

When i'm not working or studying, I love to be outdoors, walking, hiking, or running in the countryside.

Read once for understanding, then begin to look for errors. You can't effectively proofread a text that you don't understand.
