Why I became an editor
I have a natural talent for copy editing and proofreading, so it was natural for me to enhance my skills by studying in this area. I love finding mistakes!

I have worked in administration for 40 years, which has included proofreading documents, formatting newsletters, and photo editing.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I love finding mistakes and correcting them! I also enjoy reading, especially in the areas of natural science, the environment, and social justice issues.

Hobbies:
In my spare time, I love taking photos, editing photos using Photoshop, and creating photo books, as well as playing the bagpipes! When I can afford it, I love to travel and discover new places!
Editing tips:
My method is very simple. I carefully work through the document, marking changes or queries as I go, and then read the whole document to get a sense of the amended work and make further changes if necessary.
