APA referencing style is my favorite, as I used it for my own dissertation.
Why I became an editor
I studied international business and financial investments at university, and have worked at several financial companies before, ranging from asset management companies to fintech startups. However, after ten years, I rediscovered my love for the written word and stepped away from the hectic corporate and startup environments to focus on my passion.
Background and experience
During 2020, I worked at a fast-growing fintech startup as the head of the Customer Happiness team. However, I disliked the lifestyle and stepped away to focus on freelancing. Prior to Yokoy, I founded an internet business and taught myself to code in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I also worked at an asset management company and gained experience with editing, proofreading, and formatting.
Why I love proofreading and editing
I like to make sure that details are not overlooked, as one wrong letter can completely derail an otherwise well-written article.
